CorFire, the mobile commerce business of SK C&C which provides the CorPay wallet, today announced a strategic integration with PayPal, to advance the adoption of mobile commerce services by merchants, including quick service restaurants, retailers, convenience stores, gas station chains, and their consumers.
CorFire will integrate PayPal’s Mobile Express Checkout and PayPal Here.
In addition, CorFire will work with PayPal to bring large merchants and their services including mobile closed-loop cards, offers, and loyalty programs into the PayPal’s mobile app. For merchants, this means being able to deploy their own mobile app including PayPal services and at the same time being part of the PayPal mobile app.
Mobile Express Checkout streamlines customer payment and checkout on mobile devices. One example of its use is to facilitate the reload of merchant prepaid virtual cards within merchant m-commerce apps. PayPal Here allows consumers to check in at merchant stores with their smartphone and pay at the POS using in-store checkout with their PayPal account.
