Blog Action Day : Mobile banking and Human Rights

This year Blog Action day is about Human Rights.I planned to write about financial inclusion or about "Is connectivity a human right ?" from Facebook, but I read this 2 years post which is really interesting from Patrick Meier’s blog (iRevolution). I just summarized it for you :

"The Dictator’s Dilemma suggests that repressive regimes are incurring increasing opportunity costs when they decide to cut access to the Internet and/or cell phone networks. The theory suggests that doing so incurs financial and ultimately political costs.
And as mobile banking services continue to grow in developing countries, so do the opportunity costs of interrupting access to mobile phone networks."
That is to say that blocking mobile network will block mobile money, and in some countries mobile money is really huge today.Too big to block.
